
Dramaworld was established in 2002 and
offers structured
drama classes for boys
and girls aged from 5 to 16 years
Our aim is to offer sessions
that are designed to be fun
yet productive and will cover such topics as
acting,
improvisation, mime, speech & prose, performing
Classes equip pupils
with the ability to communicate effectively
which will help build their
confidence
There is an emphasis on
developing imagination, creativity,
interpretation and expression

We are continually planning shows, which we stage at various local theatre

dance troupes...
We currently have two junior dance troupes for 7 to 11 year olds
held on a Saturday morning and a
senior troupe for 11-16 year olds
that meets on a Monday evening
We also offer dance classes for tiny tots (3-5 years) and primarys (5-7 years)
All of our dancers are usually included in at least one of our shows each year
projects...

periodically during half-term, easter or summer holidays
Each day
follows a theme and is the ideal opportunity to work with,
interact
and make friends with pupils from other dramaworld classes
who
come together for these projects
exams ...

wishing to gain a formal qualification and special
classes are held in Wallasey & Birkenhead. Examinations are through
LAMDA, the
London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art, which is
accredited by the National Qualifications Framework (NQF)

business, which includes numerous appearances in
theatre, film &
television including Casualty, Brookside, Coronation Street,
The Illustrated Mum, Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, Heartbeat & many

almost 20 years teaching experience with students of all ages and a
passion
for writing, adapting, producing and directing live theatre performances
Assistance and support is
provided by a group of enthusiastic and dedicated
staff, all of whom have
general or specific experience relating to the
theatre, acting, dance or
music
Behind the scenes, we have
access to a wealth of experience that includes
stage management, audio/visual
editing & effects, sound & lighting systems,
choreography, costumes & props
